Three Questions Entry!~

Hello again! I will be answering three questions in this post, I hope someone can learn from them. :)

The purpose of opening credits is to enlighten your viewers on which studio or production company took part in the making of the film. And opening credits also show the main actors/stars in the cast. For example, in Sweet Home, the opening credits/intro stated all the production companies and people, and what the show was based on/originated, producers, photographers, designers, sound mixers, editors, music directors, etc, overall everyone that were involved in the making of the show Sweet Home.

The difference between opening credits and a title sequence is, opening credits are the names of the cast, crew, producers, studios, and many more. Which are all showed on-screen, or over a background that isn't moving. But, a title sequence is a part of the film's intro that is solely for crediting the cast, crew and showing a title card.

A good technique that can be employed in an opening sequence is freeze-framing, and using an ink illustration with ink bleeding effects like in Sherlock Holmes- DannyYount/Prologue. Another one could be a layer of anime-styled drawings with effects and color schemes.
